Does it hurt? The diode laser is completely comfortable it has an ice-cold cooling tip built into the hand piece for added comfort, which can also be increased if you are feeling any kind of discomfort. This helps ensure even the most sensitive areas can be lasered effectively. An ultrasound gel is applied across the skin to help the handpiece glide across the skin, you will hear a beeping sound as a laser pulses energy into the hair follicles.
How many sessions are required? Sessions are usually timed 4-6 weeks for smaller areas and larger areas 6-8 weeks, as you progress through your course of laser the hair growth cycle will slow down which effectively means you will need to leave longer between sessions to ensure we are catching the hair at the correct stage of your hair cycle. We recommend approximately 8 to 12 sessions for complete removal however this is dependent upon each client skin and hair type and will vary between clients. Hair growth can be stimulated by hormonal changes or certain medications this can sometimes encourage dormant hair follicles to grow, top up sessions may be required however any regrowth will be much finer and the hair will not be growing at full capacity.
The start of microbladed brow removal ππ»As you can see we carried out a patch test on this clients pigment to minimise the risk of any kind of adverse reaction - also to see how the ink reacts to the laser. Remember, semi permanent ink has a higher level of titanium dioxide which can react in different ways to the pigment, itβs important that you choose a therapist who can balance out these reactions to ensure a smooth removal process ππ»#laser #lasertattooremoval #microblading #spmu #pmu #laserremoval #browremoval #browremovalspecialist
How quickly will I see results? Usually you would expect to see results quite quickly most clients often tend to see them after 1 or 2 sessions, At this point you would expect to see a slowing down of regrowth, finer and thinner hair coming through, reduced ingrown hairs and overall more manageable regrowth. You may also notice reduced ingrown hairs and double- hair follicles reduce to single hairs.
Do I have to grow the hair? π€With the diode laser you are not required to grow the hair between sessions, we recommend you remove the hair on the day of, or day before treatment - you can do this by shaving, trimming or using a hair removal cream however we recommend you avoid waxing, plucking or threading throughout your course of Laser as this can compromise the hair follicle.
